Mission Statement

The aim of the MetafluxLab is to research new approaches in collaborative knowledge production and transfer. Via varied epistemological processes the MetafluxLab explores different methods of making knowledge apparent, considering that politics, art and science are inseparable as categories of knowledge.

The de-automation of thinking is one of the MetafluxLab‘s main focusses, which seeks to investigate ways of rescuing creative processes from becoming trivial machines. Chance and accident are incorporated into the MetafluxLab‘s modus operandi and serve as a source of unpredictability in order to continually generate new juxtapositions, thus allowing for serendipity.

With the emergence of the digital realm, our safe world of categories has shifted, it has gone, therefore we must now dare to think the unthinkable.
